Josh Pinkus creates quality handmade pieces from selected reclaimed timber and recycled metals.
Josh is born and bred in Sydney’s Bondi Beach and has had a passion for woodworking since childhood. During his carpentry apprenticeship he worked with various building firms while creating unique furniture in his spare time.
After becoming a qualified carpenter in 2007 he pursued a solo career constructing timber and metal structures, from shop fit-outs to set construction, kitchens, furniture, skate ramps and sculptures.
Josh’s quality craftsmanship and eye for detail is a stand out. His work is in high demand, having done jobs with clients including Jack Daniels, Estee Lauder, Louis Vuitton, Qantas, Red Bull, Google, Miss Chu, Toby’s Estate, Batlow Ciders.
Josh Pinkus specialises in creating one-off pieces using century-old timber and metals salvaged from barns, bridges, wharfs and factories throughout Australia. Each piece is designed and styled to suit the customer’s needs.

From the beginning to the end, all focus is on the details to make sure your happy with the outcome.
Plan - Contact Josh with your idea having in mind rough dimensions, any references, tones, colours and finishes.
Design - We'll meet up and discuss the design and sketch out all the details to give you a clear idea of what the end result will be.
Build - Now its time to build your custom piece making sure its cut, planed and sanded exactly how you want it.
Install - The final step where new piece leaves the workshop and you get to enjoy it in your home or business.
